Track 2: "Strategic Reassessment of a CE Unit’s Value Proposition" - Chris LaBelle, University of Michigan
"Many Institutions are struggling to manage the increasing gap between the cost and staffing models required for traditional open enrollment continuing education (CE) programs and CE programs developed in collaboration with third parties or OPMs. This presentation will explore how this disparity often necessitates a strategic reassessment of a CE unit’s value proposition, alignment with university priorities, and adoption of more agile, AI-enabled change management practices. Case studies from the University of Michigan College of Engineering will illustrate how one CE unit addressed these challenges over the last three years."
