Welcome to the website of the International Association for Continuing Engineering Education!

The International Association for Continuing Engineering Education (IACEE) is a global organization with the objective of bringing together diverse professionals with an interest in Continuing Engineering Education. Membership includes academic and corporate providers, professional bodies and individuals with an interest in this topic, which is of increasing importance for society.
IACEE is an international, non-profit and non-governmental organization. The aim of IACEE is to support and enhance lifelong engineering education and training world-wide, including the special needs of the developing countries.
The association´s objectives are pursued by:

Promoting international technology transfer through a better understanding of the continuing education process

Improving the quality of education and training of engineers and technicians, and of technical information through international cooperation

Developing and strengthening cooperation between education and industry

Promoting the establishment of centers for continuing education

Supporting the equality of women in engineering

Promoting and conducting research and development
-
Initiating international and regional meetings/conferences, and providing technical assistance in conducting them

Recent meeting IACEE's Executive CommitteeLast January 31, 2012, the Executive Committee met in Orlando, Florida, USA. The meeting was held in conjuction with the annual Conference for Industry and Education Collaboration (CIEC) of ASEE (American Society for Engineering Education). John Klus 1935-2011It is with profound sadness that we share the news of the passing of Prof. John P. Klus in Madison, Wisconsin, USA on Friday evening, September 2, 2011 at age 76. John was a Founder of IACEE in 1989 and served for six years as IACEE's first President from 1989 to 1995. As many of you are very aware, he was a leader internationally in CEE throughout his professional career and continued to serve CEE and our association in numerous capacities until his passing.
